What does FLPC stand for?
Aric: I don't actually know; sorry!
FLPC is Faculté Libre de Philosophie Comparée, which is the Independent Faculty of Comparative Philosophy at the University of the Sorbonne, Paris IV.
God bless you!
Thank you. In the English speaking world, many academics put their highest degree after their name. Oxford alumni include the school with that abbreviation, and so it is not uncommon to see D. Phil. Oxon. Does it function like that?
I'm speaking from limited knowledge but I would suspect that it must. One doesn't see FLPC as much as MA (Oxon) or Ph.D. (Cantab) but I imagine that it's very similar.
Which books do they read in these courses? Thanks
